Customer Review: Good value if you only need a small number of CD-Rs

Great product at $3.99 (with free shipping via SuperSaver or AmazonPrime)! 10 cds in a shrink-wrapped package, inside a small paperboard box. There are no visible manufacturing defects or inconsistencies and they seem to work well. Included (conveniently!) are 10 paper envelopes, with flaps. I burned all 10 cds, some for data and some as music cds, and did not notice any compromised data, or any flaws in the music when listening to it. Most name-brand CD-R media is manufactured by a different company than the one that ultimately sells it under its mark. These are made by Moser Baer India, according to the ATIP data. I am not sure of the chemical composition of the cds, so there is no reason to think they are using one of the newer processes that can achieve an archival life longer than about 10 years -- although you never know.
The unit cost of this product is poor -- about 40 cents per cd -- but it will be hard to find a better value without buying a much larger package of CD-Rs and paying more than $3.99 total.
